Full Time Structural Engineer
Responsibilities & Experience Required
- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience and EIT
- Will be working under senior engineer as necessary
- Software: Risa products, EnerCalc, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
- Codes and design – IBC, ASCE 7, and material codes, seismic design, and ability to comprehensively apply codes to the design.
- Design work will include various types of building structures primarily consisting of concrete construction, wood construction, hot‑rolled steel construction, light‑gauge steel construction, and masonry construction. Applicant preferably will have experience designing some or all of these materials for buildings.
- Work will include: Producing structural design and documents; Coordinating the structural design and documents with other disciplines; reviewing submittals; and providing RFI responses.
- Collaborating/Interacting with clients and inter‑office personnel. Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and manage time well.
- Will simultaneously work on multiple projects at various stages with various deadlines.
